I am so glad to have you in my English III Honors class! We are going to have a  great semester and I am as excited as you are to get started. We have a  great deal of ground to cover in American Literature between now and January; but don't worry, I'll be here to help every step of the way, and I know you are going to love the AMAZING literature we will read over the course of the semester.
Next week, I will show you how to set up your own Weebly site like this one, where you will post to your own blog. You will use your site as a portfolio of sorts. Many of your assignments will be posted to your blog and be graded from there. Note the date stamp on this post-- you will need to make sure you turn your assignments in on-time to receive full credit!

"I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he had imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."

-Henry David Thoreau
